Immigration. What does it mean? It’s the action of coming to live permanently in a foreign country. So, a person who was born in one country, which is violence ridden, no jobs, food is scarce, leave their home country to “Immigrate” to a country where they have an opportunity for a better life for themselves and their family is wrong?
What I’m getting at is, why should the United States government spend millions upon millions trying to keep Mexicans in Mexico when we can’t even secure our own streets. For instance, let’s look at Chicago, IL, the windy city. Violence is second nature. Why? Because the Government is spending millions to keep individuals out of the country instead of putting our tax dollars to work to fix US. How do I feel about immigration? I feel that if you can speak the language, you have a skill and you are willing to work to make the United States of America a better place and you also go about the process the correct way, I have no problem with it. What about the individuals already here, should we force them back from which they came? No, they are already here. It costs too much damn money to send them back, just to have them attempt it again. Give them an option, either you are going to go through the proper steps to become a citizen or force them to do a job that Americans won’t do, all the while their paperwork to become a citizen is put together anyway. Mean Right? No, I don’t think so. If we as Americans don’t want to pick fruits and vegetables, but you have individuals that are willing to do it, so they are able to make their life better for themselves and their family, why not? All because they look different than what “an average american” is supposed to look like? That’s retarded. Speaking of the looks of an “average american”, what does one look like? I’ll be waiting for your answer.
Now that your adrenaline is pumping and you are pissed off, let’s add some fuel to that fire. I was recently reading an article on http://www.cnn.com and basically, in 1994, a Mexican killed a Houston Police officer. This individual shot the policeman 3 times in the back of the head. Texas is ready to execute the guy, but Mexico says wait, don’t execute him, he is a Mexican citizen and it would go against international law. This is how I see it, this individual came to OUR country, broke one of OUR laws, he was arrested, convicted and sentenced to death, but we can’t execute him because he is a foreigner? Get the f*** out of here. Fry him. If it were a white man executing a black officer or vice-versa, he would’ve already been dead. Pretty much what Mexico wants us to do is turn a blind eye at the border, let their citizens come to the United States, do what they want, get caught, convicted and we are to just send them back as if they didn’t ruin a family’s world. I’m all for stopping drugs from entering the country, but we should have that same intensity as the Mexico/North America border on the East Coast, West Coast and North borders. Do you actually think that individuals only enter the United States at the Mexican border? If you think that is the only entrance then you, Sir/Ma’am, need to take yo’ ass back to somebody’s classroom. Individuals are still forced to America against their will. It’s not all rainbows and sunshines.
I believe with every fiber of my body that if we had individuals in our government that cared for the current and future America, then we could actually progress. Let’s look at a country that was torn all to shit, but rebuilt itself, with the help from us, because we destroyed it; it is continuing to grow everyday. Germany. As much as I complained while I was there, I wouldn’t mind living there. It’s not a perfect country, but they are millenniums ahead of America. The 5 years I was there, you know what I never saw, homeless people, kids walking around aimlessly terrorizing their citizens. Don’t get me wrong, I’m sure that it happens, but the German government is taking an active role to get rid of it. We have great minds in our country, but we can’t figure out how to clothe and feed our citizens. I know there are those that like being on the street, due to an addiction or something of that sort, that stuff we will never get rid of, but we need to do better.
Before you voice your opinion, make sure your answer is intelligent and you can back up what you say. Don’t throw some shit together, then run and hide. I don’t do it when you feel the need to “expose” me. So who wants to talk about this?
